For business, the Owain Glyndwr's spacious conference facilities are an ideal 'away from the office' location for meetings and training events. Set in a 'lecture theatre' style there is seating for 100. Set in a 'board room' style 35 can work in comfort. Our fine RESTAURANT, with seating for 20 diners, serves a varied and changing menu that takes full advantage of fresh, local produce.The ideal venue for that special occasion. Guests will be attracted by the log fire in the Saddle Bar or may prefer the Bottom Bar to enjoy the range of beers, selected wines and spirits.

Chainbridge Hotel

Situated on the banks of the River Dee, about 3 minutes walk away are the Horseshoe Falls, the source of the famous Thomas Telfords, Shropshire Union Canal which also runs alongside the Hotel. The Restaurant affords a romantic and magnificent panoramic view over the River. The Tudor Bar is situated in the original building and has black and white timbers, with its Inglenook fireplace where you can also sit and watch the fishermen fish the river and people crossing the chainbridge itself. A charming Country Inn, it is over 400 years old and the visitor is immediately aware of the warmth and the character of by-gone years that pervade-slate-flagged floors, vast inglenooks and timberwork abound, all set off by period furnishings. The period quality extends into the bedrooms, spacious and comfortable and all with private bathrooms. There are two large suites with lounge and TV, ideal for family occupation. We are justly proud of our delightful restaurant where you can enjoy chefs freshly prepared dishes and fine wines and there is a good selection of cognacs and liqueurs from which to choose with after-dinner coffee in the lounge or simply around a crackling fire.

Halcyon Quest (H.Q.) is situated just two minutes walk from Prestatyn High Street and within easy walking of the beach, and many other picturesque strolls including the historic Offas Dyke Pathway. You can bathe in the history of Prestatyn and wander around the many Castles in the North Wales area. Prestatyn is a wide north facing sandy beach with rock groynes, a long split level promenade runs the whole length of the beach heading towards Rhyl, Abergele, Llandudno and beyond. You are now able to cycle the full length of the promenade by way of a safe cycle path. We are within 10 miles of 8 excellent golf courses, of which Prestatyn Golf Links is of Championship status. For the discerning golfer we at H.Q. offer Golfing Mini Breaks with transport to and from any Golf Course you choose, details available on request. And of course for the shopper and bargain hunter, there are many markets dotted around the coast. Our latest addition is the near by (only 6 miles approx) Ferry which sails to Ireland several times a day.

Ye Olde Anchor Inn

The 18th century inn, with its low ceilings and oak beams, used to be a stopping place for drovers on their way from Holyhead to Shropshire. Now there's always a welcome from the owners Stephanie and David. Since they took over Ye Olde Anchor Inn in June 2003 they have transformed the accommodation and established a reputation for quality cuisine.
