An ancient vicarage in 1278, the White Horse was first established as an inn in 1750 and is part of Dorkings rich heritage. With its old oak beams, open log fires and inviting lounge with nooks for quiet conversation, there is a positively Dickensian flavour about this beautiful old coaching inn. In fact, Charles Dickens was a visitor and did some of his writing here. Dorking is an ideal base for visiting local attractions such as Polesden Lacey, Denbies Vineyard, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland and Epsom Racecourse.

The Hotel dates back to 1500's and boasts orginal oak beams and eves from that period. Set at the foot of Box hill with the River Mole running at the bottom of the beautiful landscaped gardens.
