Blakes of Dover offers Four beautifully decorated en-suite double rooms and one luxury self-contained suite. All rooms have colour televisions and complimentary tea, coffee & Biscuits etc. Radio Alarm Clock, Trouser Press and hairdryer. Our Superior rooms have a king size bed and also have an additional single bed, so when made up (by advance request only 10 GBP additional charge) they can comfortably accommodate a family of two adults and another member of the familys. Our Standard rooms are equally well appointed, although not as spacious, but with the full range of facilities. In addition, we have a luxury self-contained suite. Our self-contained suite, at the top of our building (stairs not for the 'faint hearted') has twin beds in the bedroom, a large lounge containing a sofa bed, a fully fitted & well equipped kitchen and a bathroom. This is perfect for family groups, or for a longer stay. The sofa bed can only be made up with advance notice and there is a 10.00 GBP charge. We specialise in service to our business community. To this extent we can provide a range of facilities to suit your requirements and to make your stay a pleasure. Blakes of Dover also has a wonderful restaurant & bar with an international reputation. We provide a delightful medium for eating and drinking. We specialise in the preparation of much local caught fish, bought directly from our fishmonger in Deal. Including Dover and Lemon Sole & Plaice, as well as local smoked Haddock, also Rainbow Trout, Scottish Salmon Steak & Swordfish. Also available are Prime Scoth Steaks, Chef's Specials and an excellent range of Homemade Vegetarian Dishes. Our range of evening meals is available from 7.95 GBP. Normal restaurant opening hours are from 6pm Monday to Saturday We do not open on Sundays and guest are advised to telephone Blakes with eta etc, On sundays Guests are signed by the owners attending personnally at the premises. Summer Season. When booking via the internet can you please supply an estimated time of arrival and a mobile number to help with contact. We do not accept arrivals after 10pm for security reasons. We are also closed between 1500 and 1800 hours.Although we do not do a full english breakfast there is a traditional english resturant within forty yards.Breakfast may be purchased at a very reasonble cost. Blakes also serve 52 malt whiskys in the cellar bar. There is alway real on tap and a fine selection of wines. Daily chef specials and local caught fish are always available

A warm welcome awaits you at this highly recommended and totally non smoking family run Victorian House conveniently situated for Dover Priory Railway Station, Town Centre and local Historic attractions. Only 5 minutes away from the Docks and Hoverport, 10 minutes away from the Channel Tunnel, the main motorway routes are all within 5 minutes drive from us. You will find a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and comfort with en-suite rooms available. All our rooms have wash basins, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, radio alarms and colour televisions. For all our guestÆs peace of mind we offer the use of our secure car park with security lighting and lock up gates. For the early morning travellers a continental breakfast will be arranged. We are open until midnight, if arriving after this time your booking may not be accepted. You can book your room via this site, e-mail, phone or fax using your credit card will give you immediate confirmation of your booking. The Swingate Inn hotel has all you need for a comfortable nights sleep, preparing you for whatever your day or weekend has to throw at you, be it a golfing holiday at one of the excellent local courses, or a trip to France on the easily accessible Ferries or Eurotunnel. Long term parking is available at a pound a night. If only left overnight or for a couple of days, then parking is free. All rooms are en-suite and have a colour television, alarm clock and hair dryer as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
