St. Ives has been in the same family since 1983 and guests return year after year to enjoy the service and hospitality the hotel provides. We offer a varied menu that is changed daily with local produce used for those special Scottish dishes. Vegetarian and alternate diets can be catered for. The hotel has a residential licence for those guests who wish to have drinks with their meal or to relax in the comfortable lounge. The tastefully decorated rooms are en-suite or with private facilities. All rooms have television, radio, direct line telephone, hair dryer and complementary tea/coffee. For the guests convenience there is a private car park at the front of the hotel.

Guests always comment on the breathtaking views of the sea and hills and its peaceful secluded setting, yet it is only one mile from Dunoon town centre, home to the world's most spectacular Highland Games.Dunoon is situated at the western gateway to the Loch Lomond National Park, only one hour from Glasgow International Airport and provides a perfect location to explore this outstanding area of the Scottish Highlands.The grounds of Abbot's Brae plays host to frequentvisits of roe deer, red squirrels and an abundance of bird-life, whilst with the ever changing views of the Firth of Clyde makes it hard to look away. Dunoon and the Argyll Forest Park is the Western Gateway to the Loch Lomond National Park which is blessed with lavish land and seascapes and few areas can match it for it? It is a place of pure and natural beauty! Our aim is to offer a comfortable high quality hotel with a warm relaxing home-from-home atmosphere whilst offering excellent service.
