Richmond Hotel
The Promenade 44/45 Marine Terrace Aberystwyth, Dyfed, Wales, SY23 2BX.
The Richmond Hotel has been a family run hotel for over 30 years. In that time we have enjoyed greeting many new guests and welcoming back many regulars. The hotel was originally built as two town houses for properous merchants and, in partnership with the Wales Tourist Board, Ceredigion County Council and Cadw, we have recently completed an overhaul of the hotel frontage to restore it to its original Georgian splendour. We run the hotel with traditional values but are geared up for the 21st century, with all the modern amenities that our guests would expect. We know that the success of our hotel has come about thanks to the support of all our past customers and look forward to welcoming new and existing customers in the future. Our stylish, highly acclaimed, sea view restaurant offers traditional Welsh and British cuisine, using local fresh produce. Our chefs cater for vegetarians and those with special dietary needs. In 1995 we became a member of the exclusive 'Taste of Wales' hospitality scheme. The hotel has a comfortable lounge with its own bar where guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Cardigan Bay. It provides a relaxing escape in a warm, friendly and pleasant atmosphere. We have all our Bedrooms as Non-smoking rooms. There is also a small garden at the rear of the hotel which offers an opportunity to relax outdoors in fine weather.

Elm Grove Country House
St Florence Tenby, Dyfed, Wales, SA70 8LS.
Elm Grove is a lovely Georgian House set amongst acres of lawns and fields, and just 250 yards from the picturesque village of St.Florence - which has blossomed into one of the foremost floral villages in Britain. The residents work hard to win several Best Kept Village titles, and they have been awarded numerous awards and accolades for their beautiful floral displays. Along with interesting village inns, historic Flemish chimneys and a peaceful setting, the colourful, fragrant village atmosphere makes St.Florence the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Elm Grove Country House has the advantage of being far enough from the nearest town (Tenby) to provide safe and easy parking, and an atmosphere of peace and seclusion, yet it is only a short drive from a plethora of sandy beaches and numerous places of interest. In the grounds there is a croquet lawn, a grass tennis court, childrens play area and games room (open at all times for guests entertainment). In the House, guests will find a tasteful blend of original furnishings, such as marble fireplaces and cornice ceilings, polished wooden floors and modern decor. The atmosphere is one of elegance and luxury - a world of difference from the way it would have been during the second world war, when large families of evacuees were housed here! The ten ensuite rooms, with CTV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarm clocks, are spacious, tastefully furnished and elegant. Dinner is available to both residents and non residents, and the menus, accompanied by a well chosen wine list are extensive and imaginative. Arrangements can be made for special occasions.WE DO NOT CATER FOR HEN AND STAG PARTIES.
