Just two miles from the centre of Cheltenham, the hotel is the proud owner of the 1999 Silver Award from the English Tourist Board Council, and the Lakeside Restaurant has received a recommendation from Egon Ronay. Comfortably appointed en suite hotel bedrooms, several furnished with four poster beds, have been tastefully refurbished and offer all the modern facilities whilst retaining their original charm. A new ground floor courtyard including a room with disabled facilities, 3 family rooms with twin and double beds and a health spa opened in mid 1999. Within the grounds are 2 cottages offering self catered accommodation for up to 6 adults per cottage. Within the new Aquaspa is the spa bedroom, which benefits from the sole and private use of all the spa facilities when let. The public areas of the hotel and much of the beamed Verderer's Court clearly reflect the former use of The Speech House as a court house to the Foresters of Dean. Meeting four times per year the Verderer's Court with a raised dais and bench remains Britain's oldest functioning court room and provides the hotel with a most fascinating judicial and royal history.

The 'Edward' is a grade II listed Victorian town house hotel. We are just a short stroll from the city centre. One particular advantage we have is our car park spaces for more than twenty cars. Tucked away behind a bank of mature trees, Hatton Court sits on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment between the Cathedral City of Gloucester and the glorious village of Painswick. Hatton Court is a reassuring size; not large and impersonal, nor too small. As a former splendid Cotswold home, the feeling is one of being eminently comfortable as opposed to grand. Viney Hill Country Guesthouse is a delightful period house built in 1741 and recently tastefully renovated and extended. The house has in excess of half an acre of lawns and gardens, set in the beautiful countryside on the edge of the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. All Guests rooms are en-suite with remote control colour television, a hospitality tray, hair drier and central heating. Private off-road parking is available for Guests cars. There is a Guest Lounge and sitting room with central heating throughout. In the days of Yore the Admiralty favoured the Forest of Dean by building many fine ships with its timbers. Admired for their strength and condition nourished from the Gloucestershire soil, the chosen trees were marked with the sign of Dean so they were not spoiled by Yeomen or Forest Folk. There are many well defined Forest Walks which pass through a variety of woodland, including samples of mature beech, oak and sweet chestnut, as well as some ancient holly trees. A variety of tracks through the forest pass areas untouched by man. In contrast there are railway and industrial workings which have long ago been abandoned and which nature had reclaimed. The forest is ever changing season to season and as such can be viewed and explored year round, many visitors choose to return seasonally to witness and experience this wonderful area.

The Manor House Hotel is located in the heart of the Cotswold market town of Moreton in Marsh. The food served at the hotel is of a high quality and has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for its Mulberry Restaurant which opened in November 2003. Historic Charingworth Manor is situated in delightful gardens on a large private estate at the heart of beautiful rolling Cotswolds countryside.This is a perfect location for exploring the very best of the region - from Stratford-upon-Avon to Warwick Castle and of course quintessential Cotswold villages like Chipping Campden and Broadway. The Manor features beautiful, individual bedrooms, some with private terraces, and lounges with fine antiques, tapestries and furnishings.A Manor has stood on this spot since the time of the Domesday Book. The present Tudor-Jacobean house, in honey-coloured stone with slate roofs, has 54 acres of grounds. In the 1930s, it hosted such illustrious guests as T. S. Eliot who wrote an ode to Charingworth. Its old-world charm has been preserved during modernisation and each spacious room is furnished with antiques and English fabrics. The hotel boasts three luxurious suites and two of the period rooms have four-poster beds. Bathrooms are individually appointed with fluffy bathrobes and toiletries supplied. From some of the high stone-sided windows, you can enjoy a view of a landscaped garden with a sunken lily pond and old-fashioned sundial. Inside, the interior is conservatively modern, with homey bedrooms. Some are large enough for a family and others have a four-poster bed. The Westonbirt Restaurant provides interesting menus complemented by fine wines in an elegant setting, or guests can sample real ale and appetising bar meals in Jack Hare's Bar, a favorite haunt for locals! Dedicated conference and banqueting rooms cater for meetings, training seminars and a variety of functions. The hotel is also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and specialises in catering for tailor-made receptions for up to 230 guests. At Christmas from December 24th to 28th, a 4 night inclusive package is only bookable direct with the hotel from 409 per person. Similarly between December 30th and January 1st, a 3 night New Year holiday is bookable direct with the hotel - from 308 per person.

From the moment you enter the Tudor House Hotel, you take a step back in time. Steeped in history, there is much to discover in this ancient building: a chimney in the Mayor's Parlour conceals a priest's hole and axe marks reputedly made by Cromwell's soldiers can be seen on the old oak door leading to the secret garden. The hotel provides 20 delightful bedrooms, all with a private bathroom. If you wish for quiet seclusion, we can offer you one of our riverside rooms in the gazebo. For that special occasion we have two very special rooms: The Adam Suite with its magnificent bay window and four poster bed, and The Gazebo Suite, a spacious and elegant room by the river. The hotel boasts an excellent location for business meetings for up to 20 delegates, or functions for up to 20 people. There are many interesting days out to be had in this charming town: *Quaint alleyways to explore; mostly originating from the 17th century. *Guided walks around the Civil War Battle Trail - Tewkesbury was the setting for the last important Battle of the Roses. *The magnificent Norman Abbey, idyllically situated in delightful grounds with rolling fields beyond. *Boat trips, river cruises and riverbank walkways. This smartly presented hotel provides friendly personal service in a quiet area just outside the city of Bristol. All 30 Ensuite Bedrooms are well-equipped and comfortable. The restaurant and bar with an adjoining conservatory have recently been refurbished s informal. The menus offer carefully prepared fresh food, Alveston House specialises in Weddings & Conferences.

A painstaking restoration programme has turned this former family home on a grand scale into a splendid property offering 189 beautifully appointed bedrooms and suites. Original features have been preserved and incorporated into the hotel. The ornate library and the delightful orangery in the grounds now house two of Tortworth Court's three fine restaurants, while the distinctive lantern tower is the setting for an elegant drawing room with views over the courtyard. Thirty sweeping acres of carefully maintained parkland with an arboretum containing 300 rare and protected listed trees afford magnificent views of the Severn Valley.
