The Olives was built around 1904, having a lovely Edwardian feel with high ceilings, we have 7 rooms including family ensuite, double ensuite, and twin. All rooms have colour TV, tea & Coffee. The Manor is a beautiful sandstone building with the original Georgian lead windows, wooden panelled walls and sweeping wooden staircase adorned with a backdrop of leadlight glass. Ornate ceiling plasterwork is complemented with the traditional English style country interior. The Manor House also offers the option of a four poster bedroom for those special occasions. A roaring fire is available in winter in both the Lounge Bar and Sitting room and allow guests to relax and have a drink prior to dinner in the Patio Brasserie. Hedleys is available for private functions and has a traditional dining room feel with highback wooden chairs, two 1800's marble fireplaces and wooden panelling throughout. Our philosophy, as far as food is concerned, is one of good wholesome local ingredients attractively presented in quantities that allow you to fuel the activities of Gower. A charming and welcoming family run 16 room hotel that is ideally situated,only a short walk from the city centre and a ten minute taxi ride from the main railway station. There is a private car park that is locked every evening.
