The George was built in the Victorian period around 1851; it is an elegant Grade II listed building situated on the main square in Huddersfield town centre. It has a friendly atmosphere and is popular as a meeting place with local people. There are 60 ensuite bedrooms and the public areas include a comfortable, traditional lounge and bar, and a restaurant which has recently undergone refurbishment. The bedrooms are very well equipped and you will feel at home.
