Oldenburg, with regular sailings from Ilfracombe, while the dramatic coastal and moorland reaches of Exmoor National Park are readily accessible by car. All of the nine bedrooms in this beautiful Victorian hotel are en-suite and of a high standard with beverage facilities, colour television, radio alarm and hairdryer. You will find that we are a family friendly hotel and have cots and high chairs available for younger children. All bedrooms at the Collingdale are strictly non-smoking.

The Beechwood was built in 1883 as a Victorian gentleman's residence. It has fine period features which together with modern comforts and facilities creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Antique furniture, original paintings and William Morris inspired furnishings add to the ambience. All the spacious guest rooms are en-suite, with remote control colour television, clock radio, central heating, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a comfortable drawing room in which to relax, a separate licensed bar and a pleasant dining room where you can enjoy a Continental or Full English Breakfast. In the evening a splendid dinner menu is offered and the imaginative dishes are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce. The hotel has a dining award from the AA and is ideally situated to enable our guests to enjoy the delights of North Devon. Immediately beyond the grounds lies the South West Coastal Path leading westward to the pretty village of Lee and onwards to Mortehoe and Woolacombe with views of Lundy Island in the distance. It is a short walk from The Beechwood to the small historic town of Ilfracombe with its fascinating harbour, quaint pubs and picturesque rocky coves The Beechwood Hotel is non-smoking, is unable to accept pets and does not cater for young people under the age of 16.

Combe Lodge is a family run Victirian hotel, stuated in an enviable postion with glorious panoramic views over Ilfracombe habour and the surrounding coastline.We offer aquiet relaxing stay with each of our eight letting bedrooms featuring a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities.Meals are served in our dinning room, which also features a well stocked bar. We specialise in home cooked food and also cater for vegetarians. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the many attractions that North Devon has to offer including, walking, golf and award winning beaches. After a busy day, guest can relax with adrink in the peaceful lounge which enjoys far reaching views over Ilfracombe bay towards the distant Welsh coast.

Making us an ideal base for your North Devon holiday. We are a non-smoking establishment. Our bedrooms are tastefully furnished they are all individual. All have views, whether it is of the garden, the sea or across Ilfracombe to the countryside beyond. All are en-suite with cetral heating, remote controlled colour television, clock CD/radio, shaver point, hair dryer and generous courtesy tray. Devon Life and other quality magazines are provided in the rooms. Luxury bathrobes and slippers are also availalbe. The hotel has a contemporary light interior featuring collections of glass, ceramics and art. Your hearty breakfast is served in the dining room, an elegant room with views to the countryside. By evening the dining room is turned into a more intimate venue. Dinner is optional with orders taken at breakfast. To compliment your meal choose from our selected wine list or your favorite drink. In the lounge you fill find newspapers, videos and our library of books many on gardening and the arts. For children of all ages you will also find a selection of games and toys. The hotel terrace with its olive tree and terracotta pots is an ideal place to relax. You are invited to visit our terraced gardens and find a secluded garden seat where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity with a drink or good book.

Throughout your stay all of the management and staff will see that your visit is an enjoyable one whether for business or pleasure. The Hotel is positioned perfectly for all of Ilfracombe's amenities and overlooking the sea. The cuisine is excellent and offers a full English Breakfast and five course evening meal. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool around which you can relax.
