Kenilworth, is in the heart of Shakespeare's country, and is a historic market town with a world famous castle, whose ancient walls have witnessed some of the major events and played host to some of the most important kings and queens in English history. Kenilworth is a delightful Warwickshire town, with lots of historical buildings and fascinating history. Our hotel is ideal for business and leisure travellers alike. The hotel was fully refurbished in 1996, with all areas completed to the highest standard. The hotel is well positioned for many sporting venues too but if you want to enjoy peace and tranquillity of the countryside, Stratford-upon-Avon is a comfortable 20 minutes' drive. All the staff at the De Montfort Hotel are fully experienced in dealing with today's traveller. Whether it's downloading your e-mails or sending that all important fax. Choose between the many cities which offer culture, art and a variety of shops or the many rural villages and market towns which are steeped in history. One of the oldest counties, Warwickshire is ideally located in the centre of the country and is home to many of the country's oldest stately homes and castles, not to mention William Shakespeare. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the county has a cosmopolitan air with fine villages and towns. There is plenty to occupy the visitor such as antique shops in Warwick and a fine theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
