Welcome to The Basil Street Hotel, situated in the heart of Knightsbridge - one of the few hotels in London still in private ownership, offering a traditional service reminiscent of a by-gone era. There are few West End Hotels that can boast such a superb location in fashionable Knightsbridge, - ideally situated between Harrods and designer labelled Sloane Street. We have been described as 'an English country house hotel in the heart of London' and are famous for our Parrot Club for Ladies. The hotel has been privately owned by the same family for three generations and remains one of the privately owned establishments in the city.

Each room elegantly, individually designed, the service impeccable, the price considerably less than most nearby hotels, and if much accommodation these days appears bland and impersonal, Searcy's will come as a pleasant surprise. Privately owned and family run, caring, informative staff, convenient closeby secure parking and direct easy access to motorway's, mainline stations and airports - all help make Searcy's somewhat of a sleeping beauty.

On arrival at The Beaufort you are greeted at the door, and without extensive formalities, are given your own front door key and shown to your room with an introduction to the hotel, or in the case of a return visit, welcomed home. Inside, The Beaufort has all the calmness of an English country house, hardly surprising since Beaufort Gardens is the only cul-de-sac in Knightsbridge. Yet you are in the heart of one of London's most fashionable district. The Beaufort with its 28 individual bedrooms in two Victorian houses is big enough to cater for the international traveller who wants the efficiency of business facilities, yet small enough to offer privacy and personal attention to all who visit and our many guests who return.
