It originated from an 18th-Century coaching inn, the Old Swan was rebuilt in 1840. Famous as the retreat of Agatha Christie during her disapearance in 1926. All rooms have satellite colour TV, telephone, radio and a welcome refreshment tray. The hotel has two restaurants and croquet lawn. Private parking is available free of charge with space for up to 250 cars. Conference rooms can accommodate up to 350 people. All of the guest rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped to give a feeling of being home while away from home. The hotel also has a variety of facilities and services that are sure to meet the needs of both business and leisure travellers.

Harrogate is an elegant Victorian spa town, noted for its charming friendly atmosphere, well-preserved architecture and glorious public gardens. The two-hundred acre Stray is an area of green parkland surrounding the town centre, well placed for easily escaping the hurly-burly of shoppers in the main streets. Dig deeper into the designer shops, ethnic restaurants and numerous tea rooms, or treat yourself to a relaxing few hours at the original Victorian Turkish Baths. Amadeus is a home as well as a hotel, so a lot of care and planning has been put into it. We cater for vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets, offering cold buffet style or full, hot, freshly cooked breakfasts. There has been a manor house on this site since the mid 15th century and was previously the home of Bishop Benson and his monks. It came into the ownership of Henry V111 in the middle of the 16th century during the period of the dissolution of the monasteries and, as a reward for his leading involvement in this work, the house was gifted to the Inman family. The Hotel boasts 19 letting bedrooms. All rooms have en- suite Shower or Bathroom, Colour Television, Direct-dial Telephone, Tea and Coffee making facilities. The New Inn has been our home since 1987, during which time we have lovingly and carefully refurbished with a fine blend of old and new to retain the characteristics of this eighteenth century coaching inn where you will experience a warm and friendly welcome. In the Main Bar can be seen a collection of caving cartoons by Jim Eyre one of the local early cave explorers. In the Lounge Bar are many tapestries all done by Barbara and several New Inn themed cartoons by Lakes cartoonist Ken Mosley. Formerly known as the Horse and Jockey in the 1700's it was a busy place next to the Race course and Grandstand. Renamed in 1800 The Railway Hotel and Posting House it was a main stop off point for Posting Carriages, then having stables to house horses and accommodation for travellers. In 1901 it was transformed into what you see today and named The Station Hotel. This is a beautiful period building with wonderful architecture both inside and outside. The Main Bar was completely refurbished in November 1999 in the colours and design of the period and features an open fire place. The Lounge Bar is a smaller meeting place. A function room is situated off the main hall and used for meetings. It is available for many uses as required by our customers, private parties, buffets, and committee meetings. Beiderbeckes Hotel is not large (only 27 super rooms) but its standards bear favourable comparison with any equivalent hotel and many much larger ones. Its a hotel but its cuisine is far removed from the institutional fare offered by many of its competitors (its restaurant is by popular acclaim the best in town so book early for weekends). The hotel takes its name and inspiration from Jazz cornetist Bix Beiderbecke One of jazzs true giants and perhaps the first great lyricist, the hallmarks of his style and music are delicacy of phrase and nuance, wonderfully poised rhythmic sophistication and rich sonority. The hotel, although not large, has some outstanding features. Architecturally, occupying as it does a Grade II* listed building in what has been described as the most important Georgian terrace outside Bath. The hotel offered marvelous scope in terms of position to the hotel is ideally situated right in the heart of Scarborough, sited within a stones throw of the commercial, administrative, theatre and resort districts of the town. Moreover, as the hotel has its own car park, guests are able to avoid the worst of Scarborough's congestion. Throughout 1999 the hotel was completely renovated, modernised and restored. This refurbishment programme has affected every aspect and feature of the hotel, from the attic to the cellar. And now after all the trials and tribulations associated with such a radical building and remodelling exercise, the hotel is complete.

Originally a 16th century Ferryman's inn, the RED LION at BURNSALL is open for accommodation and meals throughout the year; we offer superb food, fine wines and real ale. The main bar incorporates the original 16th Century structure of the Ferrymans Inn. The horsetrough which stood outside the front door now resides under the stone steps which lead to the bedrooms - it was easier to build around the trough over the centuries than move it! Traditionally panelled and floored in Oak by local craftsmen - the bar is a popular meeting and eating place for villagers and guests alike. The non-smoking hotel has a clear vista out to sea, with many bedrooms having both sea and Abbey views. In the summertime, yachts and pleasure boats make a bright and colourful scene. The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and is thus very conveniently positioned for the Promenade, beach, harbour and shops. Built in 1732, the Inn was used as a recruiting post during the Napoleonic Wars. An iron plaque of the Duke of Wellington was recently uncovered on the outside of the building and has been mounted on the fireplace in the bar.Restoration and refurbishment has improved the facilities whilst maintaining the character and charm of this traditional country inn.

Built in c1750 and originally a working farm, Appletree Court has been modernised and thoughtfully restored, whilst retaining many of the original features including the beamed ceilings. All bedrooms are en-suite and well appointed with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. There is a beautiful walled garden which our guests may enjoy, and ample car parking to the rear. Full English breakfast is included in the price, and packed lunches are available on request. Kirkbymoorside is on the southern fringe of the North York Moors National Park, surrounded by breathtaking countryside. The wide main street, part of which is still cobbled, is flanked by stonebuilt dwellings. Like all really old cities, York is compact. No place is far from another and no place is hard to find. To get to the real heart of York you need to explore on foot. So leave your Car in the hotels on site car park and then take a peaceful stroll along the banks of the River Ouse into the heart of York's centre. A comfortable and friendly family run late Victorian House, with 8 rooms available ( two on the ground floor). A Non-Smoking Hotel. The Limes is located at 135 Fulford Road, York, Yorkshire, England. About a 10-minute walk north of York Minster, this hotel comprises two refurbished and extended Victorian houses overlooking the village green of Clifton. The hotel offers cozy, small bedrooms with simple furnishings. Three rooms have four-poster beds. Each comes with a well-maintained bathroom with a shower stall and tub. Some 400-year-old timbers rescued from the demolition of a medieval building in one of the city's historic streets (Micklegate) grace the restaurant and bar.
