The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and is thus very conveniently positioned for the Promenade, beach, harbour and shops. Children over the age of 5 years are welcome and enjoy specially reduced rates if sharing a room with parents. Unfortunately, due to the quiet nature of the hotel, pets and children under the age of five are not allowed to stay at The Waveley. There are 3 parking spaces at the back of the hotel(please enquire for availability stating the make and model of the car) or, alternatively,'on street' parking is allowed on Crescent avenue.

We welcome our guests all year round whether it's for a short break, holiday or business trip the Skikero Hotel is located in the town centre, only minutes from the beach and main attractions. You have chosen the ideal place to stay. All attractions including the Shopping Centre, Cricket Ground, Bowling Centre, Stephen Joseph Theatre are all within walking distance of the hotel. If you take a short walk down to the beach there is a seafront bus service taking you to attractions such as Watersplash, Kinderland or the Sealife Centre. Scarborough is the ideal base for your visit to North Yorkshire, being closely located to the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales. Our hotel is small with just 12 bedrooms, some of which offer en suite facilites. Our deluxe doubles offer guests a bath en suite. The hotel does not have a lift, if you require a room on the first floor please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. The hotel does not have private car park but parking permits are available for use on the on street parking close to the hotel. Please note reception is not open 24 hours, if you are going to be arriving late please contact us and let us know what time you expect to arrive. If you do not know your expected arrival time please leave blank. A 50% DEPOSIT WILL BE TAKEN AT TIME OF BOOKING. Formerly known as the Horse and Jockey in the 1700's, it was a busy place next to the Race course and Grandstand. Renamed in 1800 The Railway Hotel and Posting House, it was a main stop off point for Posting Carriages, then having stables to house horses and accommodation for travellers. In 1901 it was transformed into what you see today and named The Station Hotel. The Main Bar was completely refurbished in November 1999 in the colours and design of the period and features an open fire place. The newly refurbished Lounge/bistro Bar is a smaller meeting place and is non-smoking. An attractive function room is situated off the main hall. It is available for many uses as required by our customers, private parties, buffets, and committee meetings. Bar Lunches and traditional Sunday lunches served. We have 13 newly decorated bedrooms and 5 house bathrooms. Due to the nature of the building, we have limited en-suite accommodation. Please check directly with hotel for availability of these facilities.

Guests have the use of an attractive bar lounge and dinner is available in the smartly appointed dining room. Breakfast is included in the price.
