The hotel is in the leafy village of Iffley on the River Thames, just a short drive from the centre of town, complete with its own Norman Church next door to the hotel; Hawkwell House provides peace in a busy world, and unusually for the area free on site parking. We have 51 en-suite bedrooms including 4 suites which are sumptuously decorated and offer luxurious accommodation with en-suite facilities, direct dial telephones, state of the art televisions, a modem points as well as a hospitality tray. Arezzo is our award winning restaurant, the heart of the house and overlooking the fountain patio, is centre stage to a stunning menu of contemporary, yet highly individual dishes. Lovers of fine food and wine will enjoy accomplished meals punctuated by fastidious service and epicurean skill. The versatility of our seven meeting and two syndicate suites provides the right setting for conferences, seminars, training sessions, receptions and parties accommodating up to 200.

All 162 en-suite bedrooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with satellite TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Other facilities include a comfortable bar, meeting room and complimentary parking. We are adjacent to the Kassam Football Stadium, which regularly hosts football matches, conferences and other high profile events. Please check with the hotel to confirm match dates.

With the low beams and original flagstone floors, combined with the open fire and relaxed atmosphere makes this a special place to stay. Stay in one of our eight rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, air conditioning. With the rooms being in renovated stables to the side of the inn it gives all of our guests privacy and freedom. The White Horse Inn also offers a small private function room 'The Snug' for meetings or private dinner parties. Larger parties can be catered for in our main restaurant, subject to availability.The varied menu blends classic restaurant fayre with modern international cuisine.
