Freda & Steve look forward to welcoming you to the totally NO SMOKING CLIFTON HOTEL. We like to think we're more like a home from home than a hotel, located just off the sea front and 'close to everywhere'. Chef proprietor Steve uses only the freshest of ingredients and takes great pride in his cooking, so you can be sure of a varied and interesting menu with an international flavour if you choose to have dinner. The hotel has a well stocked, attractive bar where you can relax or perhaps enjoy an evening drink. Much as we'd love to entertain you through the winter, it is our policy to close at the end of October until Easter, after which we hope you'll consider a visit.

The Rowcroft is a comfortable 4 Diamond family hotel which has been recently refurbished. Our well appointed bedrooms - all en-suite and all non smoking - are perhaps more spacious than usual in a private hotel. The Rowcroft enjoys a peaceful situation, around 100 yards level walk to glorious beaches and overlooking a beautiful park, complete with boating lake. We are also very well positioned for the many attractions of both Paignton centre - just 7-8 mins walk - and Goodrington - right on our doorstep.
