Rampsbeck provides a truly relaxing location with individually decorated en suite bedrooms, spacious public rooms with log fires in the winter, a warm and friendly atmosphere, courteous and attentive service and superb food. The award winning restaurant is recommended in all the major guides and has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes, a distinction only given to the top ten percent of restaurants. The attractive, candlelit Dining Room has superb lake views and here guests can enjoy the very best of modern French and English cuisine. Less than 15 minutes from the M6 motorway, Ullswater provides a relaxing and tranquil place to stay. The two hundred year old house is surronded by 22 acres of lush gardens and woodlands which offers private fishing and croquet, with only 40 bedrooms our guests are allowed to enjoy an intimate experience with their surrondings. Our restaurant has recently been awarded the RAC Blue Ribbion award, with its classic and modern menu specialising in local produce is a must for any guest.
