Owned and managed by the same family for over 25 years the Hotel offers a friendly welcome and atmosphere with a licensed Bar and Saddlers Restaurant serving Full English Breakfast and Dinner. We are also located on the main A6 within easy walking distance of a number of International Restaurants. Ideally situated for the M56/M60 Motorway networks, Manchester Airport, and easily accessible for Manchester and Stockport Centres with their extensive range of bars, restaurants and nightlife. There are many places of historic and natural interest within easy reach.

The M60 is only a few minutes by car from the hotel and makes travel to Manchester, the Trafford Centre and the Lowry Centre quick and easy. The Peak District with its National Park, picturesque villages and wealth of caves is only 30 minutes away.The hotel itself, offers a large array of function facilities, hotel bar and restaurant and 'Spindles' leisure centre, complete with indoor pool, gymnasium and solarium. A courtesy transfer service is available to and from Manchester Airport on request. Manchester International Airport is a 20 minute drive. For inclusive parking rates a company called VIP Parking is used. Your car is collected from the Hotel and taken to a compound at Manchester Airport. On your return journey your car will be returned to you outside the terminal. The M60 is only a few minutes by car from the hotel and makes travel to Manchester, the Trafford Centre and the Lowry Centre quick and easy. The Acton Court has a superb patio area and lawned garden to the rear with car parking for over 120 cars. Manchester International Airport is about 15 minutes away with Manchester City Centre less than 10 miles away. Champs Restaurant allows you to dine in the oak beamed splendour of a bygone era. Champs Restaurant offers you a choice of English and Continental Food and proves popular with locals, business men and hotel residents alike. The emphasis is on a relaxed friendly service coupled with value-for-money food. Portions are of a generous size and vegetarians are also catered for. Champs Restaurant is open every Sunday serving a traditional silver service lunch from 12 noon until 3pm. Children are welcome. Champs Restaurant is also available for Wedding receptions and other special functions. The Champs Bar is recently refurbished to a high standard, Champs Bar Lounge offers the atmosphere and comfort of your own 'local'. The walls are covered with pictures of the many famous people who frequent the hotel and boxing champions galore! The well stocked bar offers a wide range of both traditional and modern drinks. An extensive wine list is readily available and a range of bar snacks is on offer lunch and evening. Double patio doors lead out onto a large beer garden.
