The beautiful beaches and countryside of Gower are all close by with Gower being the first area in Britain designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. At the Winston Hotel there are many facilities such as heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium, and bar. The hotel itself is set in 1.5 acres of secluded gardens and has a private car park. The hotel is 5-10 minutes drive to Swansea city centre for shopping, cultural and leisure pursuits. Within close proximity five first class golf courses. Magnificent National Trust walks on the door step. Horse riding arranged at local stables. For activities such as surfing and water sports the world famous Gower beaches are close by. You will find personal service excellent traditional food and a friendly relaxed atmosphere (perhaps that is why guests have been coming to the hotel for twenty years or more.) The resident hosts are justifiably proud of the Tourist Board Welcome Hosts Gold Award for service.

Our philosophy, as far as food is concerned, is one of good wholesome local ingredients attractively presented in quantities that allow you to fuel the activities of Gower. Breakfast is generally served as an eat as much as you like buffet with bacon, locally made sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, scrambled and fried eggs and local delicacy laverbread. Fruit juices and cereals are available as are special requests for kippers or a continental breakfast including croissants.
