The Europa is a terraced Victorian Hotel set on the West Cliff of Whitby, with ample unrestricted on street parking. We are few minutes level walk from the sea front and 5 minutes walk to the centre of our beautiful harbours and town centre and marina basin. Our cosy well stocked bar is the perfect place to sit and have a quiet drink or socialise with other guests in a friendly atmosphere. There is also another comfortable lounge/TV room the ideal place to catch up with your favourite programme, or just to relax after a day out. In our pleasant dining room, we offer cheerful service and generous portions of good home cooked food served from a varied menu.

Stakesby Manor Hotel is a family run Georgian Manor House Hotel situated in Whitby on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. The Hotel is a Two Star Silver award Hotel. We specialise in mini- breaks all the year round. We try to provide an atmosphere that is not only relaxed but is also attentive. We are graded by both the AA and the English Tourist Council as a Two Star hotel. The English Tourist Council have awarded us with a Silver award. The AA have graded us at 71%. We are part of the Minotel group and are one of their top rated Minotel Classic Gold Hotels. We will NOT ACCEPT one night bookings for a Saturday nights only. Weekend bookings MUST be for two or more nights.

The non-smoking hotel has a clear vista out to sea, with many bedrooms having both sea and Abbey views. In the summertime, yachts and pleasure boats make a bright and colourful scene. Family owned and run, The Seacliffe is open all year and offers excellent value, with many guests returning for subsequent visits.

A warm welcome awaits you at The Waverley from resident propietors, Adrienne & Ian Leach. A charming small hotel, it assures a friendly personal service to all its quests. The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and is thus very conveniently positioned for the Promenade, beach, harbour and shops. Children over the age of 5 years are welcome and enjoy specially reduced rates if sharing a room with parents. Unfortunately, due to the quiet nature of the hotel, pets and children under the age of five are not allowed to stay at The Waveley. The Waverley has delightful small cosy barlocated in the cellar.

Our rooms, having been renovated over several years, still hold the charm and character of many centuries ago. All individually designed, the real flame fires are still surrounded by the original wood panelling. All rooms en-suite with TV, CD Player, Bathrobes, Tea & Coffee. The White Horse and Griffin Hotel and Restaurant in Whitby offers quality accommodation and fine food in a 320 year old building. Our loverly menu includes freashly prepared meat, fish and vegetarian dishes in a cosy bistro atmosphere, or the more formal Endevour Restaurant. Relax and enjoy the unique environment and then spend the night in our very comfortable rooms. The Hotel is a non smoking hotel, except in the Bistro.
